A Month of Bears
As January draws to a close, I'm looking back at my New Year's resolutions: to draw more and live life in a way that would make the late Carrie Fisher proud.
Not to get too ahead of myself, but I feel I'm doing very well, I've drawn and posted an illustration of a bear everyday since 2017 started, and I've planned themes for the rest of the year. In October 2016 I took part in Inktober for the first time, and had so much fun it inspired me to set myself the target of drawing and posting everyday, which is a tentative background goal for 2017. I've had great fun drawing silly bears, working bears, dancing bears and am so pumped to carry on this good feeling and productivity!
As for living life and making Space Mum proud, I'm seizing opportunities, such as moving to Pamplona to work as an English teacher at an academy until June. I'm taking care of myself and making plans for the future...
In addition to my stores on RedBubble and Society6, I'm hoping to open an Etsy shop for prints, cards and potentially pins within the next year or two, ideally by Christmas, so I'm researching suppliers and costings in between teaching, client work, planning classes, drawing bears, and making sure my parents know I'm still alive!
